Why is IMASE different to all the other Muslim scientist organisations out there? PDF Print E-mail
IMASE is different in that it is international in nature, with active cooperation from members from all over the world. A major asset of ours is the Global Expertise Database, which can be accessed quickly and efficiently to address the needs of specific projects conducted either by IMASE or our associates.

Today, most new influences and technology is presently generated from a Western knowledge culture and a peculiar developmental paradigm. The Muslim peoples, whilst enjoying few of the benefits of technological advances, are mainly consumers. Our collective effort aims to play a beneficial role in remedying this situation. IMASE firmly believes that science and technology should be undertaken for the benefit of life, dignity and the environment, and not for profit or hegemony.

IMASE is also different in that it avoids duplicating the works of other organisations, rather it complements them by collaborating and connecting with their activities where possible.

Most importantly, IMASE strives to be an action-orientated organisation, with an emphasis on delivering practical solutions. Our activities include organising internship schemes, work placements and volunteer programmes in different parts of the world. We also plan to collaborate with various companies and organisations to provide a jobs database. In the long term, and with a large enough, interacting database, we propose to serve as a global consulting platform, which can help Muslim and non-Muslim organisations, companies, agencies and governments, in most areas of science and technology.
